FARM PRODUCTION ASSISTANT - 02/15/2026

We are hiring a part time position to help with all aspects of our farm business. This position is intended to help our operation grow as we work on setting up an expansion project.  

 

Job Description – This position will include a wide variety of tasks ranging from farm production to product delivery to the end consumer. Farm production assistance would center around our hog operation. Tasks would include day to day care of all classes of hogs on the farm. This position would also provide support in our direct to consumer marketing through product delivery, farmers markets, and inventory management.  

 

Preferred Qualifications – Farming experience is preferred but is not necessary. We are willing to train the right person. Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.  

 

Hours and Wage – This will initially be a part-time position with potential to become full time in the future. Weekly hours anticipated to be 15-30 per week. Hourly wage starts at $20/hr based on experience. Exact hours and days of the week can be flexible. Occasional weekend work would be requested on an as needed basis.  

 

Working Conditions – This will primarily be an outdoor based position in all types of weather conditions. Must be able to lift over 50lbs.
